Is Hedera HBAR on life support? I invested in HBAR early on, and while there have been some optimistic phases, it really feels like HBAR is no longer relevant and certainly not financially productive. Despite the fact that numerous high-profile enterprises have joined the governing council, the token’s value has remained stagnant.
It’s perplexing. We’ve seen massive names like Google, IBM, and Boeing get on board, and yet, HBAR’s price has barely moved. One would expect that the involvement of such major players would drive significant price action, but that hasn’t been the case.
Has Hedera HBAR become one of those projects that looks impressive on paper but fails to deliver in reality? With the technology and partnerships in place, it’s baffling to see such little progress. Are we witnessing a classic case of a promising project that never quite lived up to its potential, or is there something more sinister at play here?
If you have insights or opinions on whether HBAR is truly a dead project or if there’s hope for a turnaround, your input would be invaluable.
Hedera HBAR honestly seems dead to me. It’s been over 4 years with zero real growth. The few price bumps we saw were just riding the pandemic bull run, tax season, and the Bitcoin ETF hype—just like every other crypto. Meanwhile, coins like Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana have shown actual growth in their networks. Is HBAR dead for good? Who knows, but this chart doesn’t look promising.
No one really knows what the future holds for Hedera. To me, it feels like this is more of an experiment than a sure thing. A lot of us invested partly because of the big names on the council, but in crypto, names don’t always translate to success. Unlike traditional stocks, crypto is driven by hype—specifically, the kind of hype that promises you’ll get rich quick. And that’s what people are chasing.
Hedera isn’t playing that game. Right now, it seems like the only names that could generate significant hype and drive the price up are giants like BlackRock, SpaceX, or Amazon joining the council. But who knows if that will ever happen? At this point, it seems like hitting 75¢ might be more realistic than the lofty predictions people have been making.
Even hitting 75¢ feels like a lofty prediction. 50 billion tokens? 25¢ at best!
